Hi! I'm Jomar Fajardo Rabajante. You can just call me "Joms".

I am currently taking my doctoral studies in Shizuoka University, Japan (Shizuoka is where Mt. Fuji is located). My field of specialization is Applied Mathematics (Mathematical Biology and Mathematical Social Sciences).

I like doing scientific research. My aim is to contribute new knowledge to the body of science. Moreover, I also love sharing knowledge to other people, especially to the young minds.

I am a researcher and instructor of Mathematics at the University of the Philippines. I pursue to be a good researcher AND an effective teacher (or shall I say, a facilitator of learning). One of the teaching styles that I wish to adapt is Blended/Hybrid Learning (flipping the classroom). I am a Coursera (MOOC) user, and my experience in Coursera became my motivation in enrolling to the Professional Certificate in Online Education of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
